Tahirih Justice Center has been selected as one of five finalists for the prestigious 2007 Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management.
The Washington Post Award is a project of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement that recognizes an organization’s outstanding management practices in the nonprofit sector. The award winner is selected through a competitive three-phase process and by a panel of individuals with a wide range of expertise in nonprofit management.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, following a best-practices workshop featuring participants from all five organizations. The event is held at The Washington Post, 1150 15th Street, NW in Washington, DC.
