Last night, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the injunction to block the harmful ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy will take effect on March 12, applying only to the border of the Ninth Circuit. This ruling comes after a series of whiplash decisions on ‘Remain in Mexico’ last Friday, in which the Ninth Circuit originally reinstated a nationwide injunction on the policy, only to suspend it that same day to give the government time to seek a stay.
