Tahirih Comments Opposing Proposed Rule on Asylum Application, Interview, and Employment Authorization for Applicants
The Tahirih Justice Center submitted comments opposing the administration’s proposed regulations that create additional, undue barriers for asylum seekers to access justice, including delays to employment authorization for most asylum seekers. These unnecessary delays will severely and needlessly harm survivors of gender-based violence.
