The Tahirih Justice Center, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting immigrant survivors of gender-based violence, is pleased to celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City, Virginia on May 13th, 2022, at 7 p.m. It has been 25 years since Tahirih opened its doors and has served more than 31,000 immigrant survivors of gender-based violence ever since. This event, Journey to Justice: Progress and Perseverance, will be a celebration of the 25 years of service and impact that Tahirih’s staff, supporters, and partners, have had on immigrant survivors of gender-based violence seeking safety in the United States.
