Yabo Lin is a partner at Sidley Austin’s LLP Palo Alto office. Yabo counsels both U.S. and international clients on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions. His experience covers a wide range of industries, including information technology, e-commerce, mobile payments, biotech, and manufacturing. Yabo also counsels foreign-based clients on transactions involving U.S. national security issues in connection with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”).
Yabo is a Board Member at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Stanford Program in Law, Science, and Technology, as well as a member of the International Advisory Committee for the Stanford University Rock Center for Corporate Governance. In 2006, Yabo received the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) highest honor, the Trailblazer Award, for “making substantial and lasting contributions to the Asian Pacific American Community.”
