Jessica Thomas is managing director of strategic initiatives and diversity, equity, and inclusion business partner at the Council on Foreign Relations. Based in New York, Thomas currently manages cross-functional initiatives that accelerate institutional priorities, and works to coordinate, strengthen, and advance CFR’s commitment to inclusion and diversity. Prior to joining CFR in 2013, Thomas served newly-arrived refugees and immigrants at the International Service Center, consulted on gender and rights at UNICEF, and supported programs teams at Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
Thomas is a 2017 International Career Advancement Program (ICAP) fellow and serves on the Board of Trustees of Messiah University. She has a BA from Messiah University and MS in Global Affairs from New York University.
