The American Bar Association reported on the impact of administration’s evolving policies at the southern border, as well as the impact on immigration attorneys working with asylum seekers. Morgan Weibel, Tahirih San Francisco Executive Director, commented:

“Asylum exists to protect people who have no other options. You simply don’t walk 3,000 miles with an infant if you have any other option.”
