Paul Salvaty is a litigation partner at Cohen Williams LLP with more than 20 years of trial and appellate experience. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, media and entertainment cases, antitrust and unfair competition, and other business disputes nationwide.
Paul has prosecuted and defended major companies and public agencies spanning many industries in both state and federal courts. He has experience as first chair trial counsel and has successfully represented clients in well over $1 billion in verdicts and settlements.
Prior to joining Cohen Williams, Paul was a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP.
Paul is active in the Los Angeles and San Francisco legal communities. Paul currently serves on the board of directors for the Tahirih Justice Center, helping immigrant survivors escape gender-based violence. He previously served as president of the board of directors of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
Paul served as a law clerk for the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian and the Honorable Kim M. Wardlaw at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He also was a judicial extern for the Honorable Richard Gadbois at the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
