The Tahirih Justice Center, along with the American Immigration Lawyers Assocation (AILA), the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies, ASISTA Immigration Assistance, and the Asian-Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, filed this amicus brief in response to the Matter of Castro-Tum case, in which the Attorney General certified to himself the question of whether Immigration Judges should be granting administrative closures.
