On May 22, 2025, the Tahirih Justice Center celebrated survivors, pro bonos, and our supporters at the annual Journey to Justice: Honoring Resilience, Championing Change event.
We recognized our partners and volunteers who make this work possible – shout out to our honorees Dr. Indira Henard at DC Rape Crisis Center, Lul Muhamud at The Person Center, Tiana Russell and Susan Huffman at Crowell & Moring, and Arnold & Porter! We were inspired by the conversation between our Social Services Program Manager Feamma Stephens and her client Giuliana, who was recently granted asylum. And our CEO Archi Pyati delivered a powerful call to action for all of us to lock arms together and stand up for our clients, all those who need our help, and our collective future.
