What is a Peer-to-Peer Campaign?
In a peer-to-peer campaign, you have the power to make change happen—not just by giving, but by mobilizing your own network to join you. By creating a personalized fundraising page or starting a team, sharing your passion, and rallying your friends, family, and colleagues, you become a voice for survivors and a beacon of hope. Every conversation you spark and every donation you inspire helps light the way to safety and justice. When you step up, you’re not just raising funds—you’re making an even bigger impact and becoming part of a movement for change.

Why Give?
Every day, women, girls, and immigrant survivors face unimaginable violence—domestic abuse, human trafficking, and other forms of exploitation. Many are forced to choose between enduring abuse or risking everything with no safety net. Your support changes that. When you give, you provide life-saving legal protection, a safe place to stay, and the resources survivors need to heal and rebuild. Together, we can turn fear into safety, despair into hope, and survival into a future filled with possibility.
Facts About Tahirih
- Tahirih has supported more than 36,000 clients and their families since 1997.
- In 2025, Tahirih connected 396 clients and their families with vital social services like emergency shelter, healthcare, food, and clothing.
- Approximately 92 percent of Tahirih cases are closed successfully, as defined by the client and their advocate team.
- While many of our clients experienced violence in their countries of origin, 58% also experience abuse and exploitation after coming to the United States.
