    Update: On September 27, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued a nationwide preliminary injunction against that expansion of expedited removal pending litigation challenging the expansion. Make the Rd. N.Y. v. McAleenan, 2019 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 166944, 2019 WL 4738070.

    This is a template letter that attorneys can adapt to notify and explain the recently expanded expedited removal policy.
