Rena E. Cutlip-Mason

Rena originally joined Tahirih in 2004 and has rejoined again in 2017. As the Chief of Programs, Rena is accountable for the quality of Tahirih’s programs nationwide. She directly manages local office Executive Directors and Legal & Social Service Directors, supports legal staff nationwide and supports the Chief of Policy in advocacy efforts. Prior to joining Tahirih, Rena served as Counsel to the Director of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) at the Department of Justice and she served as the Chief of Casework and a Senior Advisor at the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman at the Department of Homeland Security. She has lived and studied in the Dominican Republic and Chile.
