Nikki joined Tahirih in 2019. As the Bahá’í Service Fellow, Nikki supports the Social Services team by assisting with client case management and ensuring that clients’ medical, educational, housing, and mental health needs are met. Prior to joining Tahirih, Nikki worked at the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health supporting programs that enhanced the status and quality of reproductive health care for women across the country. Nikki has traveled throughout Central and South America, Europe, and Africa, including visits to grassroots educational initiatives for women and children in Panama, Brazil, and The Gambia.
I am inspired by Tahirih’s unwavering support for women and girls who are seeking justice and equality. To be able to work with an organization that fights for justice hand-in-hand with those who need it most is a great honor.
