Meagan McCullough

Meagan joined Tahirih in 2021 as an Immigration Attorney. As an Immigration Attorney with the Greater DC office, Meagan represents individuals who have experienced gender-based violence before USCIS and EOIR. Prior to joining Tahirih, Meagan served as a student attorney at the Immigrant Justice Clinic at American University Washington College of Law. Additionally, she interned at Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition, International, where she assisted survivors of torture with their asylum applications. Meagan has lived, studied, and conducted research on genocide, crimes against humanity, and other human rights issues in Rwanda, Germany, Poland, and at The Hague.
