Chenyu joined Tahirih in 2019. As the Managing Attorney of the San Francisco Bay Area Office, Chenyu supports a team of attorneys, provides legal services to survivors fleeing gender-based violence, mentors pro bono partners, and is active in coalitions of like-minded nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Tahirih, Chenyu worked at the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach in San Francisco and at the Korean Community Center of the East Bay. During law school, Chenyu served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Lewis & Clark Law Review. Chenyu has been a citizen of three countries.
