Join scholars, researchers, community organizers, service providers, local officials, leaders of faith communities, immigrant advocates, and others for a three-day event on how diverse groups are working together to meet the needs of immigrant communities in response to heightened immigration enforcement policies. The conference will examine “whole of community” responses to protecting immigrants and will offer models and best practices for moving forward amidst numerous challenges. The event is hosted by the Center for Migration Studies of New York (CMS), Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance, the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative, and the South Texas College of Law Houston.
