Tahirih Baltimore Director Morgan Weibel to present at free immigration training

Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland (PBRC) along with Tahirih Justice Center, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, Immigration Legal Services, and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), are co-sponsoring a FREE asylum training: Asylum Approved! How to Represent Asylum-Seekers for attorneys barred in any state who agree to accept 1 pro bono case from an Unaccompanied Children Pro Bono Project Partner within 1 year of taking the training.

Results continue to show that the most important factor determining outcome in many immigration cases is whether or not an individual has representation in court. Learn how to represent unaccompanied immigrant children and mothers with children who are applying for asylum.

Spanish-speaking students and professionals who can provide interpreting services are also welcome to attend.
