This web site displays the findings of a report on Female Sexual Castration in Egypt. Although the subject is rather specific, this site has much useful information about FGM as a whole. The report contains in-depth data as to who is mutilated, their age, social and economic positions, etc. Sections of the report include personal responses of women who have had FGM practiced on them and the effects of FGM upon psychosexual functioning.

This site describes FGM and the cultural reasoning for the practice. The site includes a personal testimony from a woman who has undergone FGM. This testimony is very powerful and compliments nicely the comprehensive facts displayed at the site.
