Since our inception, Tahirih has been an organization fueled by an outpouring of support, in many forms, from concerned individuals throughout the world. Tahirih recognizes that every person can play a part in assuring women and girls receive justice. Here are a few ways you can help:

• Pro bono medical services including psychiatric services, ophthalmology, dentistry, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics;
• Pro bono legal services;
• Other professional services such as grant writing, copy writing, graphic design and layout, and fundraising;
• New—or almost new—office equipment including computers, phone system, printers, copier, and fax machine;
• Hosting clients while their claims are in the legal system and helping them with shopping and other basic needs;
• Transportation for clients to and from legal and social-service appointments;
• Childcare during office hours for our clients’ children during office appointments; and
• Hosting fundraising events and speaking engagements.
