Ticket Sales Now Open for Tahirih’s 14th Annual Benefit

Tickets are now on sale for the Tahirih Justice Center’s Fourteenth Annual Fundraising Benefit. This year, we will “Celebrate the Good Fellas” and recognize men’s contributions to the promotion of justice for Tahirih clients. Jim Sandman, former Managing Partner of Arnold and Porter and current President of the Legal Services Corporation, will accept an award for his lifelong career in advocacy and promoting pro bono legal services.

Join Tahirih for the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day

March 8th, 2011, marks the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. Tahirih invites you to a reception to celebrate the advances made over the last century, and to connect with friends and allies in the fight to end global violence against women. The reception will be held at the law offices of Jones Day, just steps from the Hill in elegant newly renovated space with a stunning view of the US Capitol.
