Join the Advisory Council of Houston

The Advisory Council of Houston is a group of committed Tahirih supporters who have come together to provide financial support and leverage resources to enable the Tahirih Justice Center to protect immigrant women and girls in Houston from human rights abuses.

Requirements of Advisory Council Membership:

Founding Advisory Council Member dues of an individual gift of $5,000 or a corporate gift of $10,000
Advisory Council Member dues of an individual gift of $2,500 or a corporate gift of $5,000
Attendance at one or more Advisory Council briefings
Development of an informed understanding of issues facing Tahirih’s clients and service as an Ambassador for the organization

Benefits of Advisory Council Members

Invitation to three Advisory Council briefings per year (one required)
Inside access to organizational goals, strategic initiatives, and public policy activities
Acknowledgment on website and in annual report
Invitation to national Tahirih events with celebrity speakers and networking opportunities with other Houston professionals interested in protecting women and girls from violence

Special Recognition at Tahirih Events

As a member of the Advisory Council of Houston, you will receive periodic Tahirih communications highlighting our victories and struggles. You will also be connected to a growing movement of advocates who have come together to provide vital assistance to women and girls fleeing gender violence.
