Governance
The Tahirih Justice Center is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors and receives additional guidance from a Board of Advisors. The Board of Directors has been strategically and thoughtfully selected to bring a variety of relevant experience to the organization. The members bring issue-area expertise surrounding the legal challenges faced by our clients, as well as management, consulting, and fundraising expertise. The Board of Directors is appointed by Permanent Members, whose role is limited to two responsibilities—appointing Board members and amending any proposed changes to the Articles of Incorporation.
