Web and Data Specialist (Washington, DC Area)
Tahirih is seeking a Website and Data Specialist to manage our website, e-mail communications, constituent management databases, and to fulfill data integrity and reporting requirements for our legal case management/time-keeping system. The Website and Data Specialist will work extensively with Development and Communications staff to ensure that content on the Tahirih website is posted, will develop web pages and e-mail communications, and conduct data pulls for constituent/donor communications. In addition, the Website and Data Specialist will coordinate with the Legal Team and National Grants Manager to ensure that client data is accurately inputted into the case management system and will generate grant reports from the system that reflect the legal and social services provided to Tahirih clients. Social Services Case Aide – Temporary (Washington, DC Area)
Tahirih is seeking to hire a temporary Social Service Case Aide in our Washington, DC Area office to provide in-house culturally and linguistically appropriate case management services to ensure the safety of our clients and support their efforts to rebuild their lives and help them access a range of holistic social and health services. The Social Service Case Aide position is grant funded and will be responsible for managing a coalition of at least three regional service providers that seek to strengthen service provision through trainings designed to enhance the capacity of multidisciplinary professionals to provide trauma-informed, culturally appropriate services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault within immigrant communities. Volunteer Attorney (Washington, DC Area or Baltimore, MD)
Tahirih is seeking a volunteer attorney to serve in either our Falls Church, VA or Baltimore, MD office. The attorney will conduct intake interviews with prospective clients and assist in providing representation in immigration matters for existing clients. Applicants with immigration law experience and fluency in Spanish are strongly preferred. Major Gift Officer (Washington, DC Area)
The Tahirih Justice Center recently created the position of Major Gifts Officer. Through face-to-face meetings, strategic cultivation events, and ongoing personal contact, the Major Gifts Officer will develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing individual donors to drive increased individual giving and to identify new and strengthen existing corporate relationships. S/he will be accountable for stewarding prospects for annual gifts of $1,000 and above and will be responsible for achieving specific revenue targets. The successful candidate will be dynamic and outgoing with an excellent track record engaging donors and elevating their level of participation. The Major Gifts Officer will be a central player on the Development Team providing overall stewardship of the major donor life cycle and will report to the Director of Development.
