Case Aide (Houston Office)

Tahirih is seeking to hire a Case Aide to help women and girls fleeing gender base violence seek justice under the law. The Case Aide reports to the Social Worker and Houston Director and is located in the Houston office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with female victims of violence from multi-cultural backgrounds, speak fluent Spanish, exemplify a professional demeanor, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player. Major Gift Officer (Washington, DC Area)

The Tahirih Justice Center recently created the position of Major Gifts Officer. Through face-to-face meetings, strategic cultivation events, and ongoing personal contact, the Major Gifts Officer will develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing individual donors to drive increased individual giving and to identify new and strengthen existing corporate relationships. S/he will be accountable for stewarding prospects for annual gifts of $1,000 and above and will be responsible for achieving specific revenue targets. The successful candidate will be dynamic and outgoing with an excellent track record engaging donors and elevating their level of participation. The Major Gifts Officer will be a central player on the Development Team providing overall stewardship of the major donor life cycle and will report to the Director of Development.
