2008 Agent of Change Award to Tahirih Director of Public Policy
Jeanne Smoot, Director of Public Policy, received the 2008 Agent of Change Award from the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. The award recognized Ms. Smoot for her outstanding efforts toward providing “both the foundation for advocacy and skilled advocacy on legal and policy issues related to the rights and protection of immigrant women who are victims of sexual and domestic violence.”
