Tahirih is a Finalist for the 2007 Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management
We are thrilled to announce that the Tahirih Justice Center has been selected as one of five finalists for the prestigious 2007 Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management. The Washington Post Award is a project of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement that recognizes an organization’s outstanding management practices in the nonprofit sector. The award winner is selected through a competitive three-phase process and by a panel of individuals with a wide range of expertise in nonprofit management.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, following a best-practices workshop featuring participants from all five organizations. As a committed Tahirih supporter, we invite you to join us at this special event. Registration is now available for the Best Practices Workshop (2 pm – 4 pm), Awards Presentation (4 pm – 4:30 pm), and Reception 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm) on Wednesday, June 20, 2007. The event is held at The Washington Post, 1150 15th Street, NW in Washington, DC.
