Tahirih Receives the Prestigious New Voices Fellowship to Reach Out to Muslim Women
Tahirih recently received the highly competitive New Voices Fellowship, which is funded by the Ford Foundation and administered by the Academy for Educational Development. With only 12 fellowships awarded from 358 applications, Tahirih is extremely honored. Mazna Hussein, our New Voices Fellow, is an attorney who will work specifically to serve the needs of Muslim women and girls and increase the outreach to their communities, deepening Tahirih’s commitment to Muslim women.
