A Pilot Project with Covington & Burling Provides Lawyers on a Rotating Basis to the Tahirih Justice Center
In October 2006, the Tahirih Justice Center and the law firm of Covington & Burling LLP launched a pilot project to support the efforts of Tahirih attorneys. The two-month project, with the possibility of continuation in the future, brings consecutive Covington staff attorneys to work at Tahirih’s offices full-time for eight business days, helping to alleviate the in-house work load.
